Incorporating inclusive access and egress into the design process at all stages avoids delays or unnecessary expenditure during construction.
We provide:-
- Access audits of buildings prior to refurbishement
- Access appraisals of new build from plans and elevations
- Access Statements,which are developed through planning, building control, construction and occupation stages
- Negotiation with Local Authority Access Officer, Planning, Building Control, or Approved Inspector on all access issues
- Advice regarding resposibilities of building occupiers under DDA Legislation
- Ongoing advice during construction, on fit out and finishes, furnishings, lighting, signage and external landscaping
- Information on access and egress provisions at handover
- We can quote fixed fees as a percentage of construction cost, or as a time charge.
